How it started: We wanted to create a unique space for Denver’s canine community to connect by bringing dog lovers and their pups together so that the dogs could play and the humans could connect. We knew there was a way to use the event to impact Denver’s greater canine community in a big way but we had no idea what was coming…

How it’s going: Thanks to incredible support from the community, Tails & Ales has grown from a small happy hour to a huge ticketed event raising thousands of dollars and helping over 43 dogs (and counting) get adopted. We’re still all about bringing good people, good dogs and cold beer together but now we also have the privilege to give back to four local animal rescues each year.

- HOW IT WORKS -

Every quarter, we choose a different local dog rescue to honor and our goal is 1. to provide a platform to raise awareness about that rescue’s unique mission, 2. raise money for that rescue and 3. host a large-scale dog adoption event for them where they can get multiple dogs in front of hundreds of people at once.

For each of the Tails & Ales events, the honored rescue is the “Belle of the Ball” so to speak and we aim to drive as much attention, support and love for them as possible while providing a big platform to help their dogs find homes.
